Just announced a live gig for the Squamish party of the year, the James Bondage. Looks like the entertainment is jam packed for that night so it should be a great one to attend - yet again. If you are in the area, this fundraiser/party has been voted Squamish best party for 3 years in a row, so dress up and come on down. ,, I am in the process of negotiating a few more gigs around town so will update them when that are booked. Olympic Gigs Announced

Happy 2010 one and all. I have just updated my Live shows so far for the Winter Olympic Season. ,,,, Along with the shows that will mostly be open to ticket holders only (of that particular event), I also have two unplugged performances at the Community Pancake Breakfast. Although I would have LOVE LOVE LOVED to do the Olympic Park Performances with a live drummer and lead synth guy, I am afraid that just wont be possible at this venue. Here's to hoping that soon I can get a whole grove on band style. Then we can really pack a punch! ,,,,

Squamish (the small town between Whistler and Vancouver) will be hosting a Wild at Art festival during the Olympics. ,,,, I will also be popping up for performances for this event. Will keep you all posted.

Hello to everyone out there who has been supporting moi through this somewhat inactive music time. ,,,,,,,, I had myself a handsome little boy in March and he as been somewhat distracting for the past 8 months. However I am back in Canada now and getting ready for a season of Gigging, not only for the Vancouver Winter Olympics, but also in and around the Province.

I have been having some great feedback from some Australian Radio stations and am hoping to be back south early 2010. Apologies to those who have been trying to view Tessa’s Website, or contact her through e-mail, her web hosting company pulled a surprised pin in the middle of June, leaving Tessa’s and many other websites abandoned in cyberspace. ,,,,,,,,,,,,, We have it back up and running now though, (thanks Vic) so hopefully all the updates are in. Wondering where Tessa has been of late?. Been hearing her on the airways but nada in terms of live shindigs? ,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,, Well the Amy has been having herself (and all others involved) a baby. A baby of the boy variety. ,,,,,,,,,,,,, Congratulations Tessa and “all others involved”.

Tessa is heading south, back to the land of sun, beaches, large red rocks, the Big Pineapple (the Big Orange, the Big Lobster the Big…etc.) and chocolate licorice bullets.
While talking a small break from the live scene Tessa will be hopefully logging in some shows in the middle to end of the year. ,,,,,,,,,,,,, Aussie crowds, keep your eyes pealed and help get Tessa on the Australian airways by requesting her on you fav Radio Station.

Tessa has two great gigs this month. The first is at the Roundhouse, in Vancouver’s chichi district of Yaletown. The event, 'Seeing Eye To Eye,' is an Artistic Fundraiser for Operation Eyesight and will fuse Music, Theatre and Visual Arts for this one night of ultimate entertainment. Performance two is for the Ski Jumping and Cross Country World Cup in Whistler. At this gig Tessa will combine much of her older Folk/Pop material with the new.

It seems there has been a flurry of interest in Ms. Amy’s songs as late. While her steady play on CBC’s Radio 3 is gaining her more attention it is also the university stations that have taken a spirited interest in her melodic skills. Her song “Pluto” is now the opening song for Prince Georges CFUR “The Box” and she due to have the full hours show dedicated to her work in January sometime. There is also rumor of some placements in a few popular T.V. shows as well as gaming programs. Hence, she has been in her wee room writing and editing her little heart out, so we can expect more tunes on the horizon.

Tessa does Pemberton!

And she did it proud. Tessa Amy pumped up the Barn Dance on Sunday at the Pemberton Festival. Performing with back up man Erik Ubels, Amy (and Ubels”s) performance was as interactive and energetic as her music.Bouncing from keyboard to mic to computer, she gripped the crowd with her powerful voice and her ability to write and execute such a fun and varied array of tunes. Just when the crowd was grooving away to her synth lead, electro beats Tessa stunned the audience with a emotional a cappella number, leaving the crowd breathless. If you thought this gal only had addictive, shameless electo / pop to offer, well you will be pleasantly surprised. This time next year??? Pemberton? One can but hope.
